My name is David Raxa. I'm a visual designer from San Francisco State, currently living in Austin, Texas. I am passionate in bringing outlandish but interesting ideas come to fruition, it's nice to meet you!

why design?

My goal is to create enjoyable and gratifying experiences - and I want the user to experience this journey as well.

During the first 2 years of San Francisco State, I obtained a fundamental understanding of coding languages like Java, HTML, and CSS. Fun Fact, I came into University with the initial focus on Web Development!

For a year, I was able to learn the process of Broadcasting communication. Taking part of numerous productions allowed me to learn visual and audio skills. Understanding these concepts put me on the path of learning more about motion and visual graphics!

After transferring into design, I was able to learn imperative and fundamental graphic design philosophies. Some of my all-time favorite styles are Typographic Modernism and Swiss Design!

Creating great experiences had always been a goal of mine. Visual Design had taught me the beauty, efficiency, and all-around fun of designing experiences and products for users!

As a creative, I'm always ready to take on new and fun ideas! Whether it's making hip hop music, going on hikes, or creating goofy optical illusions - every new initiative is an exploration onto new ventures. Other interests of mine include going to the gym, listening to house music, and playing video games.
